Welcome to the Department of Linguistics at the University of Utah. We are excited to have you!
We have research opportunities, a linguistics club, and an annual student conference. Please meet with an advisor to help you plan your courses.
If you have a course from another university you think fulfills the requirements for one of our courses, please submit a course evaluation request. Requests take about a month to process; you will be contacted when a decision is made.
